Heidi Keefe, M.C.

Registered Psychologist (A.B., N.L.)

As the founder and CEO of Deeply Rooted Psychological Services, Heidi strives to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for each and every client who chooses to work with our team. Heidi has a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University and has developed expertise in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Formal Assessment. Her areas of specialization include psychological and psychoeducational assessment, treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma & stress-related disorders including PTSD and complex trauma, and Indigenous Counselling.

In addition to her work with clients, Heidi is passionate about teaching and mentoring students enrolled in the Master of Counselling Psychology program at the City University of Seattle Virtual Campus. In this role, Professor Keefe teaches topics such as Assessment and Testing, Brief Therapy, and Intro Counselling Skills. Heidi brings multifaceted clinical experience, fun and humor to the virtual classroom to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment for students entering the profession.

Heidi believes that the treatment approach used in therapy should be based on the needs of the client and who they are as a unique individual in the context of their unique story. You can expect a collaborative experience with engagement in creative thinking when working with Heidi, whose theoretical roots are in Person-Centred Therapy and Positive Psychology. Heidi can offer a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Narrative Exposure Therapy.

As a compassionate, warm, and supportive individual, Holly is committed to walking alongside you on this journey towards growth. Obstacles can pop up at unexpected times and when they do, Holly prioritizes the creation of a welcoming environment for you to connect with her at Deeply Rooted.

 

Holly is passionate about helping you make positive changes to create a healthy mind and fulfilling life. Holly is currently completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology at City University.

 

As a Psychology Intern, Holly has a fresh mindset and is ready to help you at your pace. Taking the time to work on yourself is a brave thing to do, and Holly recognizes that strength in you.

 

Holly is available to support clients ages 10+ with issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, life changes and transitions, relational issues and much more. She can offer low cost/reduced fees so you can get the support you need at an affordable rate.

Brianna is passionate about ADHD advocacy. She is excited to be taking the next steps integrating therapy and coaching to ensure she can serve her community. ​

As someone with ADHD herself, Brianna understands the unique challenges these transitions pose. She is in the final stages of becoming an ICF and PAAC certified ADHD coach. She is currently developing a unique ADHD-centred practice called Understanding ADHD with a specific focus on helping ADHD individuals navigate crucial transitional phases in their lives.

As for therapy, Brianna is thrilled to be working with Heidi at Deeply Rooted as she works towards her goal of becoming a Registered Psychologist. As a student, Brianna is able to offer low-cost options for those seeking support. Through her work, Brianna aims to foster greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and understanding among her clients, empowering them to thrive in all aspects of life. Outside of her work, Brianna enjoys cross-country skiing, soccer, singing, and playing with her dog.

Brianna can support clients ages 10+ with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, life transitions, ADHD, relational issues and much more.
